As I'm sure most of you already know, artie w6obb, and Scott Barris k7mix, finally took my advice of several weeks ago, and dumped their website www.elitehams.com.
It was far past time, as the only Elites left were artie and Scott. Scott was left holding the bag, or the web site if you will. Typical Art Bell behavior: make lots of big promises; get someone else to do all the work; and then quit participating on a whim.
(Sigh, many tried to 'tell' Scotty.)
Trite but true, 'Good riddance to bad rubbish.' (In all kinds of ways!)

Evvy, if you'll remember, it was Scotty's former wife(? - girlfriend?) Syndee who created the site, such as it was. I'll bet you a nickle that Scotty took it down because he's upset with Syndee. Otherwise he probably would have done what Art told him, and left it up forever.
And what's the deal with someone who feels she has to spell her name, noramally written as "Cindy", in such a weird way? That is affected, airhead stuff!
And Scotty's new girlfriend sounds like even more of a biotch that Syndee was. But you can't tell Scotty anything. He has all the answers, even when he's jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
Evvy, was Elite Hams the site with the chat room that only a select few were allowed in?

Yeah that was the site with the chatroom that could only be accessed by the Elite ... I had privileges into the room. It was very nice actually. Great conversations with some nice folks.
Don't be too hasty and says it's down ... you would be wrong if you thought that ... It's just running elsewhere in another form off the web.
