Re: FCC WT Docket No. 08-20; FCC Case No. 0002928684
This came in my inbox today which I pass on here without comment:

From: William Crowell <>Date: Wed, Oct 1, 2008 at 6:21 AMSubject: Would you please correct your very harmful mistakes? To: news@arrl.orgCc:, webmaster@eham.netRe: FCC WT Docket No. 08-20; FCC Case No. 0002928684Gentlepeople:The League has been extremely unfair to me by printing, as if it werethe truth, the Commission's pronouncements about my supposed Part 97violations and "bad character". I have repeatedly denied these allegations, but you have refused to print my denials. You have seriously and gratuitously hurt my reputation within the amateur community. Would you please have the common decency to print prominently, as a news report, the fact that (after the issues were fully briefed and itbecame clear that the Commission's case was based on a completemis-statement the amateur radio law) the Enforcement Bureau has agreed to cancel the hearing in my enforcement case. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I'm not surprised that Judge Steinburg went easy on Billy. Hey Evvy, I thought you were dead. Glad to see that you are back.

Jammers rejoice! Ham radio is dead. Got a ham ticket, you don't need it anymore, FCC enforcement is a thing of the past. Just remember, the end of the world is coming in 2012.

One small posting error, the names and ID's are true but that is as far as it goes. You see NO ONE took the time to notify the FCC that they made a mistake,so they are continuing the Hearing.Read the file 08-20 in the FCC Electronic filing.William Crowell W6WBJ is required to prove he is of sufficient character status as to merit having a license Grant. ALL his past performance prove with out a doubt he can not meet the Standards required to be a RADIO AMATEUR!! NEW hearing dates to be posted soon!!

Addendum:The reason for the continuance was there was SO MUCH eveidence against W6WBJ that it took extra time to organize it for the court.BOTH the FCC and W6WBJ agreed with such overwhelliming material AGAINST W6WBJ, both sides needed time to sort it out.NEW hearing dates are being considered and will be released soon.

Greg, you're not only a great stalker, but a legal expert as well. Well, it's time to pack all of your photo/recon equipment into your wife's car again, and head north to Eureka to cover late breaking news on behalf of the amateur radio community.

Thanks for the public service.
