I think not! Not only has he not been heard from much lately (since his truce with artie w6obb), but the 'Filipino Monkey' has him beat, hands down!

In comparison to the above, the antics of w6wbj, k6txh, and w6ezv are paltry indeed! Wonder if anyone will ever catch this guy? Apparently he has been at it for decades...

I'm on 75 meters in the morning and early evening, Evvy (before and after my bike rides). The petty bullshit of ham radio doesn't really interest me too much anymore. But your Grudge raises an interesting point: who's next? Answer: nobody. The Commission is going to spend -zero- for amateur enforcement, unless it causes interference with public service radio.
Billy, Ham radio doesn't interest you anymore? That's a crock! You've been saying that line of BS for years yet you do everything possible to be heard and seen. You remind me of the spoiled child who constantly demands attention or he does terrible things to small animals and other children. It's a good thing your parents left you a sizeable chunk of money otherwise you would be just another delusional schizophrenic on a street corner somewhere talking to himself.
Jane, you ignorant slut!
Reference to that old SNL episode aside, let's turn to the bigger question: what's the appeal of ham radio anymore? I mean, doesn't the initial "thrill" wear off after a while? What's fun about chatting up hams like KI6GU and W6EZV? Do you, FCC licensee, actually like going to hamfests, trying hawk old oscilloscopes and other useless junk?
The point is, the whole service is going down the tubes, and I can't say that I'm sorry about that. It's an antiquated hobby, with antiquated participants. The same-old, same-old, 24/7, 365 days a year.
So, get with the times, son. Go read a book, watch TV, whatever. Just do something different.
Over and out.
Bill Crowell reminds me of the Church Lady On SNL. Now combine this with the on going Encycopedic Brain he wants. Then consider he is a Atheist. Quite a confused Person indeed.
Bill is a great guy, works hard at his job and helps down at the church whenever he can.
Never shy with his money, he always donates generously and allows homeless folks into his home when local shelters are full.
Hats off to William Crowell, he's one of God's special people.
I cried when I read this post about Bill helping those experencing hard times. He's a true stand-up guy, way to go Billy!
One of the funniest things on SNL was when Dan Ackroyd said to Jane, "you hop from one bed to the next like the frequency of a cheap ham radio". That was classic!
