A brief 'wrap up' if you will, of some recent changes:

- Ditto www.elitehams.net add to that Jim Southwick's n7js, pic slot is empty, is that temp or permanent? (quick, everyone, go put the theme of 'A Summer Place' on your web site!). Give us a break - take the site DOWN. Are we having fun yet, scotty???

-http://www.radiowingnuts.com/ by Steve Wingate k6txh, has some EXCELLENT new pics up, most hysterically funny, I might add. (Hey, SteveO, hope your neighbor is not just going on a vacation!). And there's no fecal material anywhere in sight!

-The brand new http://www.hamminitup.net/ Little Peeps page, by Terry kb5b, which actually had some non x-rated potential, has more or less closed by posting this message:

Well, the web site lasted two weeks. I was able to withstand fat jokes, religious concerns, etc. etc. but when my "LOYALITY" was questioned because I had a link to Hamfanz website came up in an email. That is enough, as always I treated everyone with the same respect I would like to receive. I don't dislike someone because they don't like some other of my friends. For crying out loud people, grow up..... if we all didn't talk to people that the others dislike we would not be talking to anyone....

-And yes, artie is off to the PI AGAIN, leaving 'susie' behind with his laptop, to try to bait the HamFanz Chatters. And no, no one seems to be missing him on Ham Radio, except perhaps Jim Watkins ki6gu, and Scotty k7mix, and I sure haven't asked them personally...

-The scat on scotty k7mix, is that he is scrambling to keep his job and his house. (All at once now, say: 'ohhhhhhh poor scotty').

- The behind the scenes question (among many!) regarding Ben Gardner kd7bcw, and his new wife Cherry is just HOW much did his MOM have to fork out for her son's new 'toy'???

Just a bunch of 'little stuff' folks, not one of which is big enough for a full blown HamFanz Grudge Report, but as we all know, "inquiring minds," etc.

HamFanz 2008 Predictions

HamFanz Grudge Report may not be Coast to Coast AM, nor Art Bell, but…

This was actually done for a couple of years on The HamFanz Yahoo Group. But folks did not like clicking through to a database. Besides, they could only enter a few words, which was a BIG turn off to our bloviates! So almost a year ago, I decided to do this every December 31 on The HamFanz Grudge Report!

Please post YOUR 2008 predictions concerning the HAMS & SWL! ONE AT A TIME PLEASE. (If posts come through with a BUNCH of ‘predictions’ all lumped together, I will reject them; though you can certainly post MORE than one prediction (unlike Coast to Coast AM).

Ben Gardner kd7bcw, Wishful Thinking, or Reality?

Is the posting of this picture on www.hamcams.com reflecting how Ben feels about women in general? Or about his new bride, Cherry? Or about all the recent brides ‘purchased’ and imported by the Hams? My guess would be that it’s ‘all of the above’.

Is Ben happy that he now has a S.L.U.T. of his own to ride? (Thanks to artie’s w6obb, generosity.) Or he will soon, and wishes it were even sooner?

Either way, the posting of this pic reveals much about Ben Gardner kd7bcw. Not that many of us did not know it anyway...

Art Bell w6obb, and the Cryptic Message

This cryptic message appeared on artie’s picture slots on both www.HamCams.com and www.3840hams.net earlier this very evening.

Perhaps he thought he was communicating something to someone, and maybe he did, a private message so to speak. However, the cryptic message raises more questions than anything else.

“Those that will not forgive will end up victims of their own hate and become consumed by it.”

Is artie saying that HE forgives someone (perhaps Steve k6txh, Billy w6wbj, or Bill wb6bnq?) because he does not want to be a ‘victim’ of his own hate’? Or is the statement asking that some unknown ‘other’ forgive HIM for some wrong or disservice that art performed and should forgive artie so that the above does not happen to them? Interesting!

“Such hate will manifest itself in poor health either physical or mental”

Is this statement simply a part of some 12-step program artie is working? Or is it that perhaps in his new found Catholic Religion artie is getting ‘coaching’ from a parish priest? Naw, could not be that! He did not mention poor Spiritual health.

And how did the leap from ‘unforgiving’ to ‘hate’ occur? It would seem that there is an awful lot of territory in between the two that is just ignored; like forgiving yet hating someone, or being unforgiving yet without malice? Really, there are many miles between ‘unforgiving’ and ‘hate’ and a jillion other possible manifestations....

I am sure there are millions, like the Holocaust survivors, those mentally, sexually, physically abused by those they trusted, or the families of those lost in the war in Iraq, who would loudly disagree. (I can certainly think of some very large and much closer to artie’s ‘home’ examples, but see no point in listing them here.)

Perhaps this cryptic message is just another form of ‘projection’, and artie has hurt himself in ways we can never know and this ‘message’ is his way of telling everyone about it. Or maybe he has just been paying too much attention to his former C2C guests?

For myself, I would hate myself much worse for ‘selling’ myself out, than for not forgiving some nefarious ‘wrong’ done, though I would hope that BOTH could be accomplished...

I have said all along that these old/young, marriages with women who only wanted a green card were tragedy in the making. It would seem that we are seeing the very start of the 'tragedies'. Has marriage to a Philippina been good for Carl? Judge for yourself!

Carl Richardson finally got up the nerve to put a picture of a person (himself) on http://www.hamcams.com/. He's seen here, rubbing elbows in Pahrump, NV, with his brother-in-law artie w60bb, and other guests (not pictured). The 'family' must be gathering in celebration of the new, soon to be born, 'Bell' (wonder if artie's adult son is there, or was even invited?)

Carl, in his white shirt (with pen in pocket!), suspenders, capped tooth, and no facial hair, looks ill, and sad!

At any rate, we now know WHY Carl hasn't been posting any 'people' pics on HamCams; it would seem that marriage isn't agreeing with him! Of course, should he die from one of his various ailments, newly immigrated Sharon Richardson , from the Philippines, will get it all. (But is 'it' anything most of us would want?)

Chaos Reigns

I know there is not a full moon; are we not just barely past a full moon, or was it a new moon? Could it be sunspots? Something has ‘triggered’ absolute chaos across the bands! Is it a conspiracy of some type? Or did 'they' think I was just not busy enough to keep those donations coming in...

1) Jim Southwick n7js was removed for the second time from http://www.hamcams.com/ , allegedly for posting a ‘pornographic pic. Paul Bowman w7mag, said the stick figure with the gas
nozzle was offensive to his daughter. I would assume the pic of a very pregnant Airyn Bell in only a bra was not, since artie’s pics are still present.

1A) Scott Baris n6edv, was ‘demoted’ on the http://www.hamcams.com/ page. Was there a reason? Did he also post a pic that Paul’s daughter found offensive? Could it be that he can be heard on 3.840 (as is Jim n7js)?

1B) Which goes a long way to prove that artie w6obb, still, ‘owns’ Paul Bowman and HamCams.

2) 3840 was jammed for HOURS starting with traditional ‘call to battle’ bagpipe music. (Find audio clips: 2007_05_16_KI6GU_Bagpipes_Are_Overwhelming_Here.mp3 & 2007_05_16_WB6BNQ_W6WBJ_All_Done_Jamming_Now_Greg.mp3 Bill Crowell w6wbj, on air, claimed that Greg Sousa w6ezv was the source. Others were wondering if Billy was doing the jamming himself. Why would the ‘world’s biggest jammer’ be upset by a little jamming anyway? (Again, a case for the fact that Billy w6wbj, can dish it out but not take it!)

3) Steve Wingate k6txh, again deeply under the ‘influence’ and losing it on 3.840 for HOURS in the wee hours of 5.18.07 (Clip: KI6GU_W6EZV_K6TXH_Steve Goes Nuts (again).mp3 ). When Steve was asked, fairly nicely at first I might add, to shut up or leave, and he chose to do neither, it was revealed that he was growing marijuana for sale, at his Northern California home. (Which, I may add, was alluded to here, in The HamFanz Grudge Report earlier. Click on the k6txh link!). Will law enforcement soon be visiting SteveO? Will the FCC take any action? I will believe neither until I see it.

3A) Greg Souse was on air on 3.840 via a phone patch, compliments Jim ki6gu.

3B) In retaliation for the above, Steve Wingate w6txh, banned Jim Watkins ki6gu, and Scott Baris n6edv (after reposting a pic of ki6gu), from his http://www.3840hams.net/ site. (Like the police knocking on your door and a felony conviction are equivalent to not having a place to post personal pics!) This doesn't seem to leave much of a web site.

4) There is gossip that ‘Sawyer’ is still one more of billy’s w6wbj, multiple ID’s! As Jim’s Tuner remains off line, yet ‘Sawyer’ (whose only email is at his 3840aa site), and who claims he is a SWL, is recording and posting audio clips. BTW, ‘Sawyer’ (which rhymes with lawyer), never chats about his radio, antenna etc. as do most SWL’s.



...So many of these Hams have ‘fallen’ so many time, from so many things, that they not only have the properties of dominos, knocking down the next in line, but I suspect some (like SteveO), are actually developing spots on body and soul, white, yellow, or otherwise!

My phone and email has been ‘hot, hot’ hot’ the last few days and I have been trying to sort out fact from wishful thinking! As I get more background on these events, I will follow up! If you have MORE information, let me know...

3840Hams.Net is Sexist

And is once again running what could be termed by some as pornographic pictures. This comes as no surprise, considering the personalities and attitudes of the male Hams that operate and control this site.

On his www.3840hams.net site, for over a week now, Steve Wingate w6txh, has pictures of the female anatomy posted in his picture ‘slot’ (no pun intended). Close up and personal, these anatomically correct offerings to the public, though they pretend to be ‘clinical’ are definitely sexual in nature. It is not difficult to discern this, just read the associated text.

Does Steve think we do not know what human female genitalia looks like? Or is it that he does not know, and has had to look up material on the web? I wonder when Steve is going to post such pictures of male genitalia? Perhaps even his own? But then, I’m sure such a pic would not take up the 4” x 4” picture area, he’d have to Photoshop it to enlarge the prick, uhhh, make that pic!

Add to this that just today, Bill Crowell w6wbj, has added a sexist slide show of his own in his slot, titled ‘Big Bottomed Girls’. Yep, you guessed it, not one male in any of the pics in this ‘slide show’. When is he going to post a slide show of ‘skinny bottomed old male Hams’? He would not have to look far for material.

To add insult to injury, there are pictures on this site that have not been changed for weeks. Not that it matters, except that how many times have we heard this bunch get on 3.840 and bitch about the pictures on www.hamcams.com not being changed or updated?

Worse yet, their ‘token’ female member, Patricia ‘Elaine’ Gibbons (and that is a whole OTHER story) wa6ube, put up a picture after being invited to do so, about two months ago, and has not changed it since! Either she is not interested in the 3840hams.net site, once she realized what they were about, or no one explained the concept to her. Maybe a mixture of both.

‘Little Mascot’

On air, on some ham blogs, in some emails, and on http://www.hamcams.com/ the talk is ALL about a ‘mascot’ for the LITTLE PEOPLE of 3.765 or 1.957, depending on the time of the evening you listen.

There are many items as well as real live pets entered in the good natured competition. Here I submit my entry: A ‘little brain’ that has been sitting atop my computer for many a year. And if those HAMS have any brains at all (little or big), they’ll chose THIS lovely item as their mascot!

By so doing, they can then claim that they have been given a brain, and therefore don’t have to continue on with only half a brain. The LITTLE PEOPLE will have their own ‘LITTLE BRAIN’ that surely will be more useful than the ones they are currently using!

Seems I made HamCams again!

But I have to take issue with Mark k6fej! I HATE the snow, would never live where there was snow! I have the feeling that my power chair would not do well in snow and ice.

And I'm in no way a 'fan' as was depicted in 'Misery', would never do anyone any harm. I also do not look like Kathy Bates, she’s probably better looking as she has big bucks on hand for surgery!

In fact, I am not a HamFanz at all! I am merely an astute observer of the sublimely ridiculous personal lives some people put out over the public-domain short wave radio, with a predictable certainty.

The Fanz are all of you (you know who you are!) who STILL worship at the alter of the loop. Those that think it is perfectly fine for artie to go half way around the world to marry an almost-child (btw, we do not know how old Airyn REALLY is; we just have arties word for her age. And we all know how truthful artie is!).

Just the fact that most of you did not fall away from your radios in outright laughter when finding out that a 60 year old male 'icon' didn't know how to do his own laundry is further proof of the Fanz status of many of you. So, the quote on the Photoshopped collage should read "You Dirty Hams!"

And where it says "Send money or else!" It should read, "Send LOTS of money or else HamFanz will be gone!

Having said the above, that old adage is true: Even bad publicity is better than NO publicity! So a big ‘thanks’ to Mark Burnham k6fej, and Paul Bowman w7mag.

Happily Ever After

I have been looking at this picture of Art Bell and his new bride Airyn Bell since it was posted on http://www.hamcams.com/ about a week ago. It bothered me, REALLY bothered me! Since then I have been debating with myself about this picture; say what I feel, or keep my sentiments to myself? Then, an email started making the rounds, about this very topic.

So this Grudge Report is a ‘little’ different, as it is my feelings about this picture, and therefore, about this marriage. And the reason is, my immediate reaction to the above picture was shock and NAUSEA!

Having been abused in my life by many men, and in so very many ways, I know ‘the look’. Airyn has it.

This is no routine, happy, newlywed picture. This is a picture of a young, woman who is STUNNED; she looks just like a deer caught in headlights, unbelievably surprised, and not seeing any way out.

This is a picture an old man, gloating, controlling, demanding, and ENJOYING it. This is a picture of a man with no morals, perhaps even a deranged or malevolent man.

This is a picture of good and evil. Ladies, what say you?

EchoLink

It would seem that Dan vr2hf has rekindled an interest among some, in EchoLink. Haven’t we ‘Been There, Done That’ before?

From what I have heard, EchoLink is no better than 3.840 on a Friday night when there is a full moon. (Sure hope some one is recording this experiment in radio. Be sure to email me the ‘good recordings’!)

I think Dan vr2hf, is naive to see this as any kind of solution, except to his OWN personal time zone issues.

His ad, see above, for EchoLink on www.HamCams.com is amusing. “No Misfits” it says. I am sorry, but I cannot help but think that an American living in Hong Kong, and teaching English in China, on what seems to be a permanent basis (it has been years that I am aware of), has to be a Class A Misfit!

Come on home Dan. Live and get a job in America. Get an American zip code and time zone. Then you will not have to resort to drumming up business for EchoLink…

The Politics of Ego

The Politics of Ego in the Cult of the Loop

Earlier today I dropped by http://www.hamcams.com/ to see if there might be some new pictures (yea, sure) posted.

Imagine my non-surprise to find that Jim Watkins ki6gu’s long standing slot had been dropped from the second row down to the last third of the page.

Of course, he’s never sat at the right or left hand of the Lord of the Loop; those spots are taken by Paul Bowman w7mag, and Big Ben Gardner kd7bcw (since Karen w6so’s voluntary withdrawal when there was MUCH jockeying for that coveted slot) respectively.

But for a very long time, Jim Watson’s ki6gu, spot has been featured prominently on the second row, right beside Burbank Gregg’s w6ezv, slot.

So, it would seem, according to the politics of artie’s ego, that Jim Watson ki6gu, has indeed lost favor with the power that is. But the good news is that Jim Watson ki6gu didn’t tick artie off so badly that his slot was dropped totally from the page, as was Steve Wingate’s kg6txh a few months ago.

This obvious type of political maneuvering with the slots on http://www.hamcams.com/ has been denied repeatedly. Artie and his minions say, “Oh, we just shuffle the slots randomly once in awhile.”

Isn’t it strange that when this ‘random shuffling’ occurs that only one or two slots of specific HAMS get rearranged? And usually only when artie is ticked at one of ‘his group’?

They can deny the politics of it all they want; ANY long time Cult of the Loop observer can tell you immediately who’s in favor and out, just by looking at the ‘position’ of the slots on http://www.hamcams.com/!

Jim Watson ki6gu’s position is currently quite far down the ladder…it would seem that the once dubbed, Bad Boy of Burbank, has been very very bad indeed!

Mature Adults? Right!

I was taught that it was immature when you were losing, or didn't like how the game was going, to grab your toys and go home, thereby ending the game. For everyone!

But that's exactly what Paul Bowman w7mag has done with his http://www.hamcams.com/ site. And what artie w60bb is doing with his tuner. Punish all for what a few have done that they didn't like. Paul w7mag, posted this message on the HamCams site:

Actually, I don't call it censorship; I call it infantile. And one wonders whose idea this really was, to shut down the site & punish everyone, Paul of Pahrump or artie's who seems, at times, to pull Paul's strings?

So congrats to all you MATURE ADULTS for not only acting like children, but for publicly showing everyone just how childish you really are: no pics on HamCams and who know what on the 'famed' Pahrump receiver.

When a service is provided, even if it is a free service, it carries a certain amount of public obligation, no matter how angry, hurt, sick, etc. you may be. At least to reputable people...

HamCams - Again

hmmm - isn't it interesting that www.hamcams.com has not posted any hit numbers since it was pointed out that their #s are going down???

The hit counter consistently presents as a 'red X'. And has for weeks now!

No wonder their numbers aren't maintaining at a high rate, currently, there are a few active 'posters', and the rest just don't bother. Some of the pics there now, are OVER a month old. It's easy to tell which ones, they are dated!

Come on HamCams! REMOVE anything over a week old! It will not only save loading time, but may 'inspire' some of those HAM laggards into action...

HamCams: A Flash in the pan???

Like everyone else, I enjoy HamCams. HamCams was started by Paul Bowman - w7mag, of Pahrump, Nevada (Probably at the behest of his good buddy and neighbor, artie - w6obb.)

It was a great idea, and still is. But I don't check the site as often as I used too. Other people report spending less time there also. Though I remember well it's first weeks when HamCams would rack up a jillion hits per night.

For one thing, it's almost impossible for those using dial-up to load the over bloated page anymore. And although I believe every HAM that wants one, should have a spot (as long as it is 'family oriented'); it's just gotten too large. Perhaps it's time to:

- Segment/Divide the page in some sort of logical way i.e. by license class, or by alphabet, or by ??? So that when you open HamCams, you'd get a 'link' list and go one level 'deeper' to get to the smaller, more manageable, pic pages.

But worse than the size/loading problem; it has become BORING!!! There are MANY pics there that haven't been changed in forever! Whatever happened to HamCams policy of DELETING pics that were over a couple of weeks old???

Yet the ONE reason I always went to HamCams is gone; the live webcam of the NYC street!

I KNOW HamCams is a totally volunteer site, and that Paul Bowman does the all the work, administration, etc. himself. (AND I personally know how THAT goes!!!). But perhaps it's time for Paul to 'appoint' some additional volunteers??? People who have the time and energy to monitor the site???

To top it all off, many sites link to HamCams (ahem, including www.3840HamFans.com ), but HamCams apparently doesn't believe in reciprocating as the only link to another site is to JimandLeahs Online Tuner (of course, Jim Southwick - n7js is also a ham)!!! But then what about Radio Bothell Online by Kent Nyberg - wm70? His online tuner page is shaping up very nicely indeed!)

With these 'lacks', one wonders how long it will be before HamCams itself will last??? Or perhaps the page will be up, and just fewer and fewer folks will visit it; after all how many times do you want to view the same old mug shots??? Otherwise HamCams may be on it's way out. Just another of arties 'flashes in the pan'.

On The Right Hand Of ???

I first noticed the change between one and two weeks ago. Perhaps it happened during that week when my computer was down (not being one of those folks that have 17 of 'em, as Artie not so subtly brags he has!)

But, I digress... The thing is, there is a difference on www.HamCams.com . If anyone has noticed it, I haven't heard about it, either on air, via email, or on our list http://groups.yahoo.com/group/3840HamFans/ (New members always welcome!).

The exit of Karen Larrimore w6so has occurred without a whimper, compared to her solar flare entrance a few short months ago! An event much heralded, welcomed by Art Bell w6obb.

Karen Larrimore w6so, can still be heard on 3840 once in awhile in the early evenings (usually long before Art's golden voice hits the ethers.)

Hmmm. Could this be because Artie is now as cold as ice to Karen, that is, even if he is polite enough to respond, which he often isn't. I mean, is there a reason for this??? OTHER than the OBVIOUS??? )

Anyway, as soon as I returned with a working computer, (thanks to a local HAM), I checked out www.HamCams.com . I noticed right away that Karen's picture 'spot' had moved from it's month's long position just to the right of, and beside, Art Bell's top row middle position to mid-way down the page. Then, a few days later, I noticed there was NO pic spot for Karen at all! And so it's been ever since. I know because I check.

The 'line-up' was thus: Top row, Paul w7mag (www.HamCams.com owner and neighbor/friend of Art), Artie, and Karen. Paul to the left of Artie, Karen to the right.

It would seem that Karen has lost her 'Right hand of Art' status! (Not that she ever 'requested' it.) But, who will take her place??? Does she want it back??? (Hard to imagine as she's so seldom on frequency anymore.) Did she ever want it to begin with???

Perhaps Karen is again on vacation? Or is there now 'infighting' behind the scenes for this 'coveted' position? Of course, Artie has the only say in this matter.
