Steve Wingate w6txh, and the FCC (continued)
I doubt that there is anyone who has not seen this (3 emails of this from 3 different folks in my inbox this afternoon).
From: http://www.fcc.gov/eb/AmateurActions/files/WINGA07_07_14_1100.html
Steve Wingate may get a ‘slap on the hand’ from Hollingsworth. Maybe, or perhaps Hollingsworth just did not have anything better to do that day...
Of interest to me would be the 14 (14!!!!) enclosures.
Note that SteveO has to reply within twenty days of receipt, and notice is dated 6.29.07, so he must have gotten it sometime during the week of 4 July.
No wonder SteveO and billy w6wbj have been absent from the bands and emails lately, the accused and his pro-bono attorney are probably holed up somewhere composting (yes, you read correctly, I said COMPOSTING) a response! Hope we get to see that, it ought to be good!
And, is my memory completely gone? It seems to me that the FCC already has an ‘un-enforced’ action against Steve already...

lack of station control -- yuppers, that's Steve-O to a "T". That's also a good pro-bono defense. "Your honor, I was having another bad hair day, so I reverted to my drunk persona". ROFLMAO!!
Wingnut and Billy both believe they are beyond FCC enforcement and based upon the FCC's behavior for the last several years I believe they are right. A dying hobby and a shrinking FCC ham radio enforcement budget allow their nightly pearls of operating showmanship to continue until only God (or whomever) calls them home.
I don't understand why Hollingsworth keeps picking on Steve. I think he is an excellent operator and a real asset to our hobby.
None of this matters, none of this means anything. Carry on, talk on.
Actually it's become rather boring, Billy needs to come up with something new. His stuff was interesting at first but now it's the same shit over and over again. And Wingnut's nightly crazed drunk show, " I'll tell you right now " is just about as stupid as stupid can possibly get.
