Trish is changing her vanity call once more, this time to k4ze. And, it would seem, she has already purchased k4ze.com, or so she told Big Ben. Indeed, if you click on www.k4ze.com you currently end up at www.HamCams.com
Now you might wonder why this .com thing is so important to Trish, as she now has www. patriciaray.net, a perfectly acceptable site where she can post her ‘odes’ and ‘cow’ items. (However, she must be feeling ‘one step behind’ as someone even beat her to the punch with patriciaray.com, but it’s for sale at $495. Jeeze, bet the owner of k4oob.com would sell it to her for less than the owner of patriciaray.com is asking!)
Trish must still own ki4dvf, that web site now whisks you away to arties audio stream on s-meter. Wouldn’t you think she’d direct it towards HER own site? And what about all the music that was on that site, where is it now? (Trish has learned to ‘point’!)
But I digress. It seems that Trish also told Big Ben that she HAS to change her vanity call again because she wasn’t able to obtain k4obb.com. Right. Why don’t ya just tell ‘em Trish, that changing your mind IS a woman’s prerogative and let it go at that. It might even go over better.

Not only is w6obb.com not available, the identify of the registrant is "private," an extra cost service.
But, w6obb.net, w6obb.org, etc. are available.

If you do a little digging in Uncle Charlie's database you find that K4ZE will NOT be granted to K4OBB based on the current application. That app was filed on July 12th, which is too early. K4ZE was cancelled effective July 22, 2003. It will be eligible for reassignment to applications dated July 23, 2005 and AFTER (which is two years and a day later).
No doubt there will be multiple applications made on July 23rd, since 1x2 calls in 4-land are in very high demand. If K4OBB modifies her app or files another one on the 23rd, she will enter a "lottery" with all other applicants. If not, she definitely won't get it.

Really??? How VERY interesting! I luv the technical stuff you HAMS have stored in your heads! Kinda like I was telling someone how to prepare a pot roast or what an 'ode' is...
At any rate, wonder if anyone has explained this to Trish, k4obb, as she (or someone) has definitely purchased www.k4ze.com and pointed it to the HamCam page! And the plot thus thickens...
